Computer Access:

McKellar Library now has 4 computers with high speed internet access, available for public use. We have FREE Wi Fi in the library, come in to the library for the access code. Internet access for reference and job searching is now available at no charge. Enjoy games, or chats. One of our computers has assistive technology for visually impaired on a height adjustable table. We now have an Early Literacy Computer for use at the library. Computer literacy is not req’d as our trained staff will be delighted to get you started.

Our Internet Use Policy

Unfortunately the internet is a worldwide phenomenon which can neither control or censor. Any information that you receive from any source on the internet may be true. But all reference materials should be checked before taken as true factual information.
Therefore we, as the McKellar Public Library are not responsible for any information found on the internet.

Computer use is limited to ½ an hour. If no other patrons are waiting to use the computers your time on the computers is unlimited.

 
Loan Regulations:

Our Library is open to both year round and seasonal residents. Temporary Library Cards for Non-residents are available for $25.00 a year.

Books, magazines and talking books are allowed to be taken out for 3 weeks. DVD’s and Videos are allowed to be taken out for a week.

Any damaged or unreturned items must be replaced by the borrower or paid for at the current retail value.

Interlibrary Loan – If you cannot find what you are looking for in our collection, we can borrow books from other libraries free of charge.
