Voter Registration - Check, Update, Add or Remove yourself from the list.
Update your school support designation by June 1, 2026, through the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) for the October 2026 municipal and school board elections. MPAC is legislatively required to collect school support information.

This workshop series is being offered for no charge in two streams:
- Stream 1: For elected officials at the municipal level across Ontario who are considering re-election in 2026 and preparing their path forward.

The Municipal Elections Act (the Act), 1996 as amended contains provisions that allow electors to request an audit of an Election Candidate’s or of a Third-party Advertiser’s campaign finances, if they have reasonable grounds to suspect the Candidate or Third-party Advertiser has contravened the financial provisions of the Act.
The review of these audit requests/applications is the responsibility of Compliance Audit Committees; these arms-length committees must be established by municipalities before October 1st 2022 for the 2022-2026 term of office, s 88.37(1).
Role of clerk or secretary, Section 88.37 (6)
The clerk of the municipality or the secretary of the local board, as the case may be, shall establish administrative practices and procedures for the committee and shall carry out any other duties required under this Act to implement the committee’s decisions. The Clerks of the West Parry Sound Municipalities have developed and agreed to the Terms of Reference for the Committee which will be adopted by By-law by each of the Municipalities individually.
Staff from the host municipality where an application for an audit has been filed will provide administrative support to the Committee. The Clerk or designate from the host municipality shall act as Recording Secretary for the Committee. Any responsibility not clearly identified within the Terms of Reference shall be in accordance with sections 88.33 through 88.37 inclusive of the Act.
