 Information for Voters! 
Voter Registration - Check, Update, Add or Remove yourself from the list. Elections Ontario is managing the Voters' List for the first time; even if you have previously voted, ensure you are registered to vote. 

 

Update your school support designation by June 1, 2026, through the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) for the October 2026 municipal and school board elections. MPAC is legislatively required to collect school support information.

 

Ways to Vote & Voter Help Centre 

The Township will conduct its election using telephone and internet voting.

In September, electors will receive a voter information letter by mail containing a personal identification number required to vote.

Voting will open on Wednesday, October 14, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. and will close on Voting Day, Monday, October 26, 2026 at 8:00 p.m.

If you require assistance with voting, or do not have access to a telephone or internet, you are welcome to attend the Municipal Office at 701 Highway 124, McKellar, where staff will be pleased to assist you. A dedicated laptop will be available for electors to use during regular office hours throughout the voting period, as well as on Voting Day until 8:00 p.m.

Nomination papers for school boards must be obtained and filed with the Clerk at the appropriate Municipal Office.
