Fire Department

Welcome to the McKellar Fire Department page. Our department is committed to protecting the residents, cottagers, campers, and wildlife of McKellar through emergency response, fire prevention, and public education.

The safety of our community starts with our dedicated team of Volunteer Firefighters and Fire Chief Rob Morrison, but it also depends on everyone doing their part. Understanding both home fire safety and outdoor fire safety is essential in helping keep our community safe year-round.

Visit the Fire Safety and Fire Rating & Permits page for important information, helpful tips, current fire ratings, permit requirements, and resources to help protect your property, your family, and our community.
