Interested in becoming a Volunteer Fire Fighter with the McKellar Volunteer Fire Department? We are always looking for dedicated community members who are interested in serving and protecting the residents of McKellar.

Junior Firefighter Program

Are you between the ages of 15 and 18? Interested in helping your community and learning what it takes to become a firefighter? The McKellar Volunteer Fire Department is now accepting applications for a limited number of positions in our Junior Volunteer Firefighter Program.

This program offers youth the opportunity to train alongside firefighters, learn valuable firefighting skills, gain knowledge about fire safety and prevention, and help educate the public on fire awareness within McKellar.

If you have ever wondered what it would be like to become a firefighter, this is a great opportunity to get involved, build confidence, and make a difference in your community.
