The McKellar Transfer Station is located at 13 Lees Road. All ratepayers in McKellar are welcome to use the facility; however, proof of property ownership in McKellar is required. This can be provided by presenting your Transfer Station Card included with your 2025 Final Tax Bill, or by showing documentation such as a hydro bill, tax bill, driver’s licence, or any document displaying your McKellar address.

Transfer Station hours are listed below. Please be advised that dumping garbage outside of operating hours is strictly prohibited and will result in a fine. We appreciate your cooperation in helping to keep our community clean and in respecting the site and staff.
Waste Disposal Fee Schedule
Transfer Station users must first see the Attendant when entering the site. The attendant has the right to inspect all material entering the transfer station site and may not accept materials that are contaminated with items not accepted at the transfer station site. All materials being deposited at the transfer station site must be disposed of at the areas designated by the attendant.
